Below you will find the Auswanderung file of the documents Julius Rosenberg assembled as he sought desperately to emigrate from Germany with his wife Else and daughter Lotte.
Julius did not succeed and in 1943 he was arrested and murdered. His wife and daughter survived the war and then emigrated to Canada. Else Rosenberg died in Vancouver in 1965.
In 2012, Lotte Rosenberg, whose sister lives in Vancouver, contacted Sharon Meen and shared this file, other documents, and numerous images with us. At right is a photo of Lotte with her parents in Themar in the late 1930s.
