Descendants List: Abraham & Veilchen (née Lang) SCHLESINGER

Entry for family of Abraham Schlesinger, Jewish Register Walldorf. Family Search.

The Descendants List below is based on the entry in the Jewish Register of Walldorf above. The Schlesingers were an important family in the Jewish community of Walldorf an der Werra. Both were born and died there. Between 1809 and 1831, Veilchen bore eight (8) children, seven (7) of whom grew to adulthood. We know most about the family of eldest son Kappel, as several of his children — his daughter Sofine Schlesinger and granddaughter Hulda Schlesinger — played important roles in the development of the Jewish community of Themar. But other family members threaded through the lives of the Themar families and over time, close family connections have emerged.
