Descendants List: Mendel & Sarah (née Gutmann) WERTHEIMER

Mendel Wertheimer was the eldest child son of Jacob and Betti (née Kohler) Wertheimer. On 23 March 1869, Mendel and Sarah, and children moved from Marisfeld to Themar.

The Nachkommenliste/Descendants List below starts with the entry in the Registers of the Jewish Community of Themar. From there, it has been built with sources from family members, databases and other sources of information.  It is as accurate as can be as of 1 January 2020 based on the sources listed below. Links to internet sources have been inserted wherever possible. Should a reader of this page have any additional information, please let us know at s.meen79@gmail.com. We welcome additions, corrections, and questions.

As well, please see the story of Minnie Marks, née Wertheimer, and her grandson, Lloyd Marx, and their 1921 summer trip to visit relatives in Germany.
