Nachkommenliste von Löb und Jette Frankenberg hier.
Two brothers, Löb and Nathan Frankenberg, came to Themar from Marisfeld in the late 1860s. They called themselves the “Gebrüder Frankenberg” and were called that by other residents. Initially the men and their families lived in rented quarters in Töpfermarkt, across from St. Bartholemew’s church. Once building was permitted outside the city walls, the Frankenbergs built the handsome house in Bernhardstlrasse that continues to be identified with the family.
We know quite a bit about the family of Löb & Jette Frankenberg. They had already formed a family of seven children at the time of their move to Themar and all family members played an important role in the life of the city. We know far less about the family of Nathan Frankenberg.
